Eventually I will write a good title
Went to Downtown East tonight to have a buffet dinner at Sakura to celebrate my Father's birthday in advance.

Used a small portion of my pay for tonight's dinner, a small gift from me so that we could all enjoy the night. As this was my first time to Sakura, I was a bit apprehensive at taking food from the wide buffet spread because, well I have never been to a free flow of food and drinks.

All the salads...

Oh man the desserts...

For me, this is the first time I am eating scallop and oysters.

At first, I thought that this chicken porridge with bits of shark's fin was the only shark's fin related item on the menu...

However, I found the actual, honest to goodness Shark's Fin soup. The one that I have eaten years ago when I was very, very young.

Stewed Beef that we ordered

Some squid that was barbequed in sauce

It was like, food was free flowing there. However, there was only a certain amount my stomach could take. Unfortunately, by the time my stomach shouted stop, I could not continue sampling the vast array of cuisine there.
Anyways, after that, we went to some tentage near the foyer and there was some loud music blasting from there. Went inside and found out that there was some music competition.

At first, I thought it was just another one of those singing competitions. However, one glance at the projected "U" was all that was needed for me to know what the whole event was about.

Argh, it hurt my ears badly with the propaganda: "U club members" U club this, U club that, recession times... I mean come on, its a singing gig, who cares about the recession man?
Went home with a full stomach...
O levels coming.... aaarrghhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
