TPJC newspaper collection!!!!!

Started off at block 248 today where we would be spending our Saturday morning collecting newspapers and old clothes from the residents of the aforementioned block, 247, 268 and 296. Met my group, Alicia and Rebecca and we hurried off to start.

It was very messy from the start as there was no proper organization. We started off from the bottom floor of this block which has NO lifts at all (smart eh?). Knock knock at doors saying "We are from Tampines Junior College. We are here to collect newspapers and old clothes to be sold for recycling and the money donated to Dover Park Hospiece." Sian... whole morning say that...
Whenever we see this

we will always get excited, coz no need to knock on doors. If the resident leaves newspapers outside with our flyer attached, we are free to collect it! Then, there is this one problem, the residents keep on thinking im a chinese!!!!! Why? Im not malay enough meh?!
Anyways, we all went to the second block to collect newspapers, and there was where the fun was. One malay guy, gave us so much newspapers, the lift was filled with it... Lucky got lift at every floor this time round. But then, the lift a bit screwed up coz when we tried to unload the newspapers, the lift started making a lot of noise and kept on threatening to close the door on us. So... we threw the papers out of the lift like nobody's business!!!! The result:

All we collected from the block were dumped here

under the care and share of Ms Peh (not in pict).
Last block... actually it wase'nt so tireing lah... We did it in our own stride... I just skip the grandfather story lah. All that we collected from this block, we dumped here.

When the collecting lorry finally came, we had to load it up. Damn fun coz the class was like, line up from the dumping area to the open door.

Then we passed the stuff to eash other!
Gareth and Azam... those jokers..

Joel ah, so strong...

To be Frank (in class joke), it was a good day...
