Again, the outside counter... and again, utter boredom. Luckily, I had my trusty handphone for entertainment. Watched an episode of Fringe on my hp. Really love the show.





Fringe follows the exploits of FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham, scientist Walter Bishop, and his son Peter as they investigate aspects of fringe science (telepathy, levitation, invisibility, reanimation, genetic mutation, etc).



All over the world, a series of apparent experiments collectively referred to as "the Pattern" (e.g., a newborn baby who rapidly ages and dies within a few hours, a bus full of passengers trapped in a strange substance like mosquitoes in amber) are occurring for reasons unknown. Olivia, Peter, and Walter are in charge of investigating these strange events to determine their source. Connected to the Pattern is a company called Massive Dynamic, which is a leading global research company that holds the patents for a number of new and important technologies.

Anyways, at the end of the day, I was the first to declare, which started the vicious cycle of declaration faults.... haha. I was like, wth, outside counter can still short 0.40... den Theresa came in with an excess of 0.40... Then we realised that we have been exchanging money and that's what caused the fault. Means balanced today! Then all the other senior cashiers who came in, all got declaration faults... only 1 senior cashier balanced. I was like, did I pass on the curse to everyone or something? Haha.


Then, I found out about the o levels through PG. Wah, got quite a shock. Eventhough I know that eventually the results will be out, I still don't feel ready to recieve it. Aargh! Who knows I may have done badly? The anxiousness itself already kills me.

Hope I can make it to the course of my choice in Poly/JC...

Got the outside counter today... Thought I could handle it since now the items sold consists of only pillows and pillow cases instead of women's lingerie as it was previously. Turns out, there was absolutely no business for 2 hours! On hindsight, I think its because some of the pillow cases actually costs $90++... Had to endure the crappiest and lamest jokes too... Was so bored, that even after listening to all the music in my phone like twice, I was still bored... Took some photos as well:

A grave mistake...


Don't ask me why I keyed in 36 qty (I know, i have long fingers...). The customer was totally shocked when the 6 pillows she bought "costs" $324. The solution is pretty straightforward. Hold the receipt, and then do a sales cancellation. However, its the declaration afterwards that will show this enormous number and, I have to write a very good reason(key wrongly lorh...).


Anyways, total sales today was $1300 and, obviously, balanced. I mean, come on, its the outside counter. Practically no business outside. How is it possible to even get a shortage or excess of money??? Although this amount is greatly overshadowed by the previous day's sales of $5000++.

Oh well, tomorrow is a new day...
